Here are the main common reasons why an a negative energy or emotion might become stuck, rather than processed and moved through the body… Most of times, it comes down to managing our emotions!
Today’s scientific research recognizes the link between emotions and health. Here are for example scientific links to key peer-reviewed research papers examining how emotion regulation directly impacts physical and cardiovascular health:
- Neural and Physical Pathways: You can read the study by Song et al. (2014) on the biological and neural links between emotion regulation and physical health via the amygdala directly at the Oxford University Press / PubMed Central Repository.
- Cardiovascular Disease Risk: The peer-reviewed research by Roy et al. (2018) investigating how emotion regulation dampens the physical impact of chronic stress on cardiovascular risk is available on PubMed Central.
- Stress Reactivity Mechanisms: The paper by Tyra et al. (2023) detailing how specific emotion regulation tendencies influence physiological blood pressure and heart rate responses during stress can be accessed via PubMed / Elsevier.
So, first of all, what are the main common reasons why an a negative energy or emotion might become stuck in our body?
- The experience was too overwhelming to process. This is very common. We didn’t know how to react, so we did not process the energy or emotion.
- We didn’t feel safe to fully experience the emotion. For example, we did not feel comfortable to cry in front of someone. That sadness, that did not go out through tears, is kept in the body, vibrating sadness.
- It happened before we had the tools to process it. This is very common for energies and emotions experienced in infancy, in childhood, but also afterwards.
- The emotion was experienced repeatedly. Too much stress on the system paralyses the system.
- There was a lack of support. We felt alone in the situation, and did not have someone to talk to about it immediately, to release it.
- The energy or the emotion was inherited. We have a lot of energies and emotions inherited from our ancestors, through our DNA. If a parent or an ancestor experienced a strong emotion (remember some of them went through wars, losing family members, etc), it can become imprinted in that parent’s DNA and passed down to all their descendants. That’s why some families are more prone to given emotions, like anger, or fear, or shame. The main ones can be cleaned energetically in about 3 sessions usually. Read our blog post here to know more about transgenerational energies.

Why is it important to get rid of those energies?
Dr Wayne Dyer explains it very well in this 1:27 mn video. In a nutshell: i you keep anger, anxiousness, fear, frustration inside… They will come out, and often at the worst moment.
Moreover, they will keep vibrating these low frequency energies, and thus attract more of them – creating a vicious loop.
What can we do about it? We did not learn how to manage our emotions… Here are important takeaways.
- Express your emotions. Cry, say it when you are hurt, express your self. Don’t keep it for yourself. Talk. Talk with your family, with your best friend. Talk about it respectfully, with love, but talk about it.
- If it was an intense negative event/ conversation, you can go to a safe place and shout your emotion, your frustration, your anger, your anxiety. Make sounds, verbalize, take it out! A lot of negative emotions cannot be expressed in public. So leave the scene, excusing yourself for a moment, and go to the toilet, to your bedroom, to a safe place, and express the emotion. The sooner the better. Once emotions are fully expressed, you will feel a sense of peace. Then you can come back and talk peacefully about the situation.
- In your morning routine, you can add the daily habit to shield your self from negative energy by visualizing yourself in a golden light egg that is protecting you from negative energy.
- Ground yourself regularly by walking barefoot on Earth. It discharges the electro-magnetic surplus, and transmits it to Earth.
- Go to the sun in the morning before 11am or after 5pm, so that you don’t need sunscreen – don’t forget your hat -, and let the sun dynamize you. Receive its Life force.
Have a wonderful time expressing your emotions! They are Life’s colors…
